CK Mondavi and #CKMondaviHeroes

I am really excited to write this post today. Not only does CK Mondavi offer affordable delicious wine, they honor and support our Veterans. This couldn’t be more important to me as whenever I make a toast it’s usually with my husband, a United States Army Veteran!

CK Mondavi is run by the legendary Napa Valley wine icon, Peter Mondavi Sr., a World War II veteran. Mr. Mondavi Sr. knows first hand what being a Veteran is all about. He not only served this great Country, but he supports it and encourages others to support American made products as well.

CK Mondavi is a big supporter of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund. In fact, a percentage of each bottle of CK Mondavi wine sold between May – August is donated to Intrepid Fallen Heroes (up to $50,00). Cheers to CK Mondavi and #CKMondaviHeroes!

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF) is an organization that supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. It is funded entirely by public donations!  IFHF serves U.S. military personnel wounded or killed in service to our nation and their families. For more information, visit

About CK Mondavi

CK Mondavi is the only American made/grown wine in the “supermarket wine under $10” category. Yep, a great bottle of wine made in the USA for under ten bucks! Cheers!

Established in the 1940s, CK Mondavi remains a family- owned business that has thrived for four generations to produce fine wines. CK Mondavi wine is sold nationwide in every US state.

Please comment below to share your own story about supporting veterans and/or American-made products. I will select ONE reader to be entered into CK Mondavi’s grand prize drawing by May 15. The grand prize is a $500 donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in the winner’s name!

My Hero, My Husband, Veteran

I am so grateful to my husband for a great number of different things, but especially for the years he spent serving our Country. I am proud to support any organization that recognizes the true sacrifice our Veteran’s have made as well as those that have given their lives for our freedom and the family members that support or have supported them.

  1. Love the American-made & supportive of Vets aspect.

Going to have to see if I can find a bottle sometime.

  2. I love this! I’ve actually been to his winery, and it’s beautiful. I didn’t know he was a sponsor of fallen heroes, and I will gladly purchase more wine!

    1. That’s awesome that you’ve been to his winery! I have Napa Valley on my bucket list! An excuse to buy wine? I can find plenty of those!

  3. I think it is awesome that they are donating part of the proceeds to help Intrepid Fallen Heroes in need. I know a lot of people that would be willing to support that!

  4. A sincere thank you to your husband for serving our country. I haven’t tried Mondavi wine. But it’s affordable, I’ll have to try it.

  5. A big thanks to your husband for his loyal service to our country. I love that CK Mondavi is supporting a wonderful cause and giving back. I have never had this wine but for that alone I am willing to buy some and give it a try!

  6. First of all, a big thank-you to your husband for his service, and to all the others like him, my dad included. I think it is wonderful that there is a company so dedicated to helping their cause. When I purchase wine as a gift for my sister in the future, it will most definitely be Mondavi.

  7. I am thrilled to learn of this program! It’s important to me that I support companies that support our troops. Nice to know that I found a winery that does that.

Please thank your husband for his service; and know that I appreciate your family’s sacrifice.

  8. That’s wonderful that Mondavi is helping out Veterans. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a great cause, helping out those with traumatic brain injuries. We try to support the cause all we can!

  9. I’ve been a fan of Robert Mondavi wines for many years, so I’ve been meaning to try the CK.

And anything that thanks and honors our veterans is a wonderful thing! Thank you to your husband and to you and your family for the sacrifices you have made to keep our country safe! <3

  12. I loved wine but have not try this kind of wine yet. Since, they supported our veterans, I’ll definitely buy some. My husband is also a veteran.

  13. Glad to see there is a great wine made in America for under $10. Also even better that they support our vets. I love that the contest donates in the winner’s name.

Many thanks to your husband for his service and your family for the sacrifices they have made.

  14. I will definitely check this out, I do not drink wine but love cooking with it. I love that they give back, especially when they are giving to those who have given so much.

  15. My in-laws are the world’s biggest Robert Mondavi fans! I bet they’ll like the brand even more when I tell them about the support for the vets. 🙂 Very nice!

  16. Wine makes me so incredibly sick 🙁 which is sad because I could use a wine wednesday… every day lol. Despite this i somehow manage to make a mean sangria with wine.

  17. I think it’s great that they give a percentage of sales to soldiers. I don’t think we do enough for them, considering all they’ve done for us!

  18. I love a good wine. For some reason whenever I hear of Mondavi I think of an old SNL skit about Robert Mondavi. Am I crazy?

  19. Such a great program! And tell your husband thank you for all he has done!

  20. I am not a wine drinker myself. However, this would be great for gifting especially during the time they are giving back.

  21. I’m not a big wine drinker, but I love that this is American made and the organization behind it. My brother is in the Army and has done two tours in Iraq. I’ll do just about anything possible to support our veterans.
