As many of you know, my husband and I traveled to Branson Missouri on a press trip last month. We had such an amazing time! I keep thinking about how badly I want to go back, and how much I loved a few very special places! Here’s my recommendations for some must see places in Branson as well as a video I put together highlighting our entire trip!
Welk Resort Branson
If you looking for a great place to stay in Branson Missouri, I recommend the Welk Resort! The staff is friendly, the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plus, they have on site dining and the coolest water slide and pool! It’s a perfect place for families!
Whether traveling for a weekend getaway or spending time on a family vacation, The Welk Resort Branson offers guests a chance to experience one of the premier resort destinations in the Ozarks.
With their newly renovated deluxe rooms and common areas, their indoor/outdoor water attraction The Splash-A-Torium offering a 117’ water slide and “splashing” good fun, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, on-site full service restaurant with room and poolside service, 2200 seat theatre, free mini-golf, activities center with daily activities for everyone, fitness center and game room, The Welk Resort gives you more.

The SIX Show
If you are looking for a great show in Branson Missouri have no fear! There are SO many to choose from. Read my review of The SIX Show here.
The Haygoods
For another must see show I recommend The Haygoods! We had such an amazing time at their show! Read my review of The Haygoods here.
Silver Dollar City
There’s way too much for me to say about Silver Dollar City for this post! Please go see all of the goodness in my review here.
Dinner Cruise Showboat Branson Belle
I can’t say enough about the Showboat Branson Belle! It’s breathtaking, entertaining and worth every second! Read my full review of the Dinner Cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle here.
Sight & Sound Theatre for JONAH
The Sight & Sound Theatre is something that you have to see to believe. It’s absolutely amazing in every way! Even if you aren’t religious at all do not count this show out!
With spectacular staging, immersive special effects, beautiful original music and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, Sight & Sound brings the action front and center to each visitor in our majestic theatre in Branson, MO. See the show that visitors call “awe-inspiring,” “uplifting” and “amazing.”
Branson Scenic Railway
Climb on board the Branson Scenic Railway for a 40-mile round trip excursion through Ozark foothills and tunnels. You will learn the history of the area as you cross bridges and trestles. Try to get upstairs in a dome car for the best views!
Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks
One Opportunity Avenue, Point Lookout MO 65726
Phone: 417-239-1900
Where do I start? I am in love with the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks. First, the college is tuition free and students work various jobs on site to pay for their education. That is amazing! Second, if you want an amazing meal this is the place to go. From the beautiful atmosphere to the most polite waitstaff to the best food to ever grace my tongue, lunch at the Keeter Center was something I’ll never forget! Try the Chocolate Caramel Flan Cake for dessert, please! If Heaven was replicated on a spoon this would be it!
Whether it’s a casual lunch, intimate dinner for two or an elegant private dinner party for sixty, our culinary staff of students at Dobyns Dining Room offer something for every taste. Also, your Branson dining experience will be enhanced by student entertainment on Thursday through Saturday evenings from the wide range of musical talent on our campus. For the sweet tooth anytime of the day, our bakery will satisfy any desire with pastries, desserts, homemade ice cream, and a variety of coffee and fruit drinks.
Talking Rocks Cavern
423 Fairy Cave Lane, Branson West MO 65737
Phone: 417-272-3366
This place is a hidden gem! Talking Rocks Cavern is a fun, underground adventure into a beautiful cave with magnificent rock formations. Read my full review of Talking Rocks Cavern here.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
While I enjoyed the adventure at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! I’d say that if you didn’t bring the kids on your Branson trip this is one place you could resist. There are so many more interesting, less commercialized venues for couples to visit. That being said, it’s a fun place and a can’t miss spot if you are visiting Branson with children!
Legends in Concert
Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater
Johnny Cash, Tina Turner, Elvis, Adele and more! The Legends come alive at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater. We enjoyed the show here but it’s a very different crowd and atmosphere than say, The Haygoods show.
Titanic Museum Attraction
We saved our Titanic Museum visit for the morning before we boarded our plane for home. I highly recommend if you are a history lover like I am, or a romantic at heart, you dedicate a significant amount of time to fully appreciate everything this amazing venue has to offer. From primary sources and relics to second hand accounts, this place is incredible!
Branson Landing
If there was one place that I was especially drawn to in Branson it was Branson Landing. In fact, I went there multiple times during my stay, both at night and during the day. It was where I relaxed for a few minutes during such a busy (but awesome!) time in Branson Missouri! Free entertainment, too!
Branson Looks like a great place to visits with lots of wonderful things to do and see.
I truly had no idea there was so much to do there. I would love to go for a visit.
When I go on vacation, LOTS TO DO is a MUST. The Silver Dollar City is one thing I know I would enjoy visiting.
There is a lot to try to get into one vacation, I used to hear people talk about some of the things like Slivertown and Silver Dollar City and always wanted to go see both. Hopefully I will make it there with my family one day.
I’ve been to Silver Dollar City, done the dinner cruise, the railway and the Ripley’s! Love Branson! I’ve got to take my husband there, though – he’s never been!
It looks like there are so many fun places to visit and things to do here. I must visit one day.
How will I ever decide what to do there. There is soooooo much to choose from and all of it looks worth doing!
I had no idea there were so many things to do in Branson. I would love to take the train ride. That is one of my favorite things to do.
The more I hear about Branson, the higher up it gets on my list of places to visit. Everything sounds so fantastic!
That totally seems like a fun place to visit!
I’ve never stepped foot in Missouri, I might need to add it to my places I need to travel to.
Looks like a really amazing place to go for a vacation.
I would love to get around to seeing more of the word – Branson sounds like it has some amazing reasons to visit and soon 🙂 x
I’d love to see some of these attractions! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! more of why I would love to visit Branson! Thanks for showing the awesome attractions
Wow, I’d really like to go on the dinner cruise showboat because I love being on the water and I certainly like food! We have a Ripley’s and Titanic museum here too, very cool.
I’m heading to Missouri in two weeks but I won’t be near Branson. Bummer too because from this post I can tell there are lots of fun places to see in Branson!
