You, a small business owner? Well, you won’t usually have that luxury, so trying to copy that polished, corporate, overly safe style can end up making the business look less memorable, and it just falls flat.

A larger company selling the same product might have a huge ad budget, a full content team, a designer, paid traffic coming in from five different directions, and enough brand recognition that people already trust the name before they even land on the page. 

Basically, they got the whole shebang and then some. So of course, when you see it all from the outside, their whole brand looks smooth. But what’s money for you? They have the money to repeat themselves to the point where people can and will recognize them.

But a small business doesn’t usually have that setup, which is exactly why copying the surface-level stuff can backfire. As a small business, it’s not a good idea because you’re going to lack the resources. However, with the limited resources you have, you might want to seek professional help.
