If you choose to rent your gear over buying it, then this can save you a substantial amount of money, especially in the early days. You may also find that you can give yourself way more of a financial cushion should things not go to plan as well so be mindful of this if you can. If you work in construction or if you are renovating your offices, then remember that equipment rental is often a very good way for you to make sure that you are getting what you need, for the right price so be mindful of that if you can.

If you are a small business owner, then you may find yourself wishing that you had more time or more tools available at your disposal. That being said, free things go a very long way. Don’t buy something that is pricey until you have tried it out for yourself, and until you know what you are looking for. In the early days, focus on being as experimental as possible and see what works for you. If it doesn’t work, then explore new solutions rather than trying to do everything prematurely.
