Most humans love their dogs. They get unconditional love from them. There is no overemphasizing what that can mean to someone.
You can show your dog some love with tasty snacks they will enjoy. We’ll talk about some possible ones right now that you may want to try giving them.
Bully Sticks
There are some different kinds of bully sticks on the market. They are usually made from natural protein sources. They are tough and chewy, so if you have a hyperactive dog that won’t leave you alone, this might be a good choice to distract them for a bit.
You should make sure to take the bully stick away when it gets down to a nub, though. When it’s that small, your dog might choke on it if they try to swallow the last piece.
Meatballs
You can get meatballs for your dog. They are usually made of either turkey or chicken. They smell appetizing, and you can use them as a reward if your dog does something good, like not barking at other dogs or the postal carrier.
These are usually high in calories, so use them sparingly. If you give your dog too many, they can become overweight.
Milk Bones
Milk Bones have been around for a long time. They are dog biscuits that most dogs love. They come in different flavors and sizes.
You can also put a couple of them in a cookie ball and give that to your dog. They can spend
some time trying to get the Milk Bones out of the ball. This might become one of their favorite activities.
Kongs
A Kong is a toy that you give to your dog that has treats inside. Usually, you will put either spray cheese or peanut butter inside the Kong.
They can spend some time trying to get at the food. Like the bully stick, this is a treat that can give you a break if your dog keeps trying to get your attention and you’re attempting to get some work done.
Cow Ears
Many dogs love the taste of cow ears. These are cow ears that are dried out so that they are crunchy and chewy.
You can give your dog one to keep them busy for a while. They should enjoy chewing on the ear until they reduce it to a small piece. At that point, you should take it away, since it can be a choking hazard.
Dog Jerky
Dog jerky looks very much like the beef jerky you might buy for yourself. You can usually find turkey jerky for dogs. You might give your dog some as a reward when you get back from a walk.
A Licky Mat
A licky mat is a textured mat that you can spread some peanut butter on to keep your dog busy. Since it’s textured, they can spend hours trying to get at the residual peanut butter in the mat’s depressions.
You can try different treats to see what your dog likes.
