Thank you to Depend for sponsoring today’s post about the #underwareness movement.
Okay, ladies … let’s be honest! Pee happens. As Moms we get our fair share of urine experiences from baby boys that spray us in the face to bladder leakage during pregnancy, or bladder leakage when we laugh until we cry, or, pee.
Yes, I’ve peed my pants! A few times! (Ok, slightly more than a few times!) When I was pregnant for my oldest I was peeing my pants so often one day after he’d “dropped” that I checked into labor and delivery certain that my water had broken. I know I’m not alone in this. In fact, I used to tease certain family members that I couldn’t make them laugh or they’d pee their pants, too! Heh, jokes on me these last few years! Well, until I discovered the #underwareness movement!
I know this is a sensitive topic but it’s really important for other women to know that they aren’t the only ones that pee their pants sometimes!
Depend is entering year two of Underwareness, a social movement and charitable cause to break down the bladder leakage stigma. As part of Underwareness, the Depend brand is encouraging people to show their support for women with bladder leakage. For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness and featuring Depend products, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage.
