[dropcap]T[/dropcap]rying to find great apps for moms or kids can be hard with so many available. That’s why I’ve partnered with Apparoo – the app discovery service for busy moms. Each week I’ll be sharing the ‘Apparoo App of the Week’ with you.

Very often they’ve negotiated to bring you great paid apps at heavily discounted rates and sometimes even free. I’m very excited about this and welcome your feedback on the apps you decide to install.

Manilla – Declutter Your Desk!

[one_third]manilla organize your life[/one_third]

Hey, whatever happened to this ‘paperless desk’ we were all supposed to have by now? The endless influx of bills can be overwhelming – and buried bills mean late fees (ahem).

Manilla is a simple, secure and free way to de-clutter your desktop. It retrieves and organizes household bills, bank, credit card and healthcare accounts, travel rewards – even offline accounts like rent or babysitters. It reminds you when bills are due and files old statements so you don’t have to.

So save a tree, reclaim your desk, and never pay a late fee again!  Download it here for free.

  1. I don’t do a very good job of it. It mostly involves taking everything off and then putting it back on it the right places!

  2. I actually use the Manilla app. Well I use to. I haven’t in quite a while. I should really go back to using it. One of these days I’ll have a proper desk to work at!

  3. My desk is a mess at home, probably because it is small. But my desk at work is very organized since I have people walking around it everyday.

  4. I don’t have a desk, but I tend to have paper piled up beside the couch where I work. I try to keep it at a minimum by sorting through it once a week.

  5. I’m not really an organized person! LOL. But I try to cleanup once a week. Haven’t heard of that Manilla app, I’ll check it out!

  6. I don’t have a designated office space or desk. I work out of a corner of my kitchen. Really need to get my paperwork out of there!

  7. This app sounds great and something I need to look into getting. Offline, I have a very long desk that I got from Ikea. It makes it much easier to keep things organized and it has great drawers and a place for the printer.

  8. I use Bento on my desktop and that syncs to my phone and iPad. Also I sync my Thunderbird calendar to my phone.

  9. I am not good at keeping my desk cleared off. I normally have a giant stack of things to sort through. Maybe I really need to get this app!

  10. I have to stay organized to be productive. I find purchasing fun desk containers and boxes makes it much easier to keep everything in their place. This app sounds great for someone like me who is always on the go and not always at home sitting at a desk.

  11. Since we turned the office/guest room into a nursery for our second child, I no longer have a desk. 🙁 My blogging related documents and notebooks are stacked on my nightstand, as I work most of the time in the bedroom. Bills are filed in an organizer and removed at the end of each year. It works, most of the time!

  12. I am really bad about staying organized online. I am always saving photos under the wrong folders and not being able to find them later 🙁 I could definitely use help

  13. I’m way better at staying organized with hard copy items than I am online ones. Pictures instantly come to mind. I’ve really got to get something done with those.

  14. Online stuff, for me, is way harder to organize. I guess it’s because it isn’t really out in the open to look at and bother me, lol.

  15. I still like working with a paper and pen at home. I spend so much time on my phone and computer sometimes it just nice to write even if it’s a to do or grocery list

  16. I pay bills and file at least once a week or else my desk becomes a cluttered mess! This app could help me too though
