  1. Yay for you!! Finally getting away to have your long awaited Honeymoon. The Welk Resort Branson sounds like the perfect place for your getaway.

  2. I’ve always wanted to go to Branson, I’ve heard such great things about it. Perfect for families, couples and friends. Sounds like the perfect vacation to me.
Can’t wait to read about your experiences.

      1. Definitely looks like Branson is an awesome place for families. Many of the attractions are very family friendly and actually prohibit dressing provocatively as well as alcohol being prohibited throughout Silver Dollar City. I can totally appreciate that!

  3. I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about Branson recently and it really seems like they are building up a nice line up of tourist attractions there. I can’t wait to hear about your trip!

  4. I’ve seen a lot about Branson lately. Tv commercials and billboards. My parents live in St. Louis, so i’ll look into it more!

    1. Funny enough that’s one of Branson’s biggest misconceptions. I do love country music- but- here’s what ExploreBranson.com says about it-

While we love and honor our country music heritage, today fewer than half of Branson’s more than 100 shows feature country music. Variety is the best word to describe Branson’s show offerings, with selections including Popular Music, Broadway, Magic, Dance, Rock ’n Roll, Comedy, Big Band, Acrobatics, Irish, and Patriotic. There are shows that feature the song and dance of the ’50s and ’60s, and shows that pay tribute to legendary performers such as Red Skelton, Elvis, and The Beatles. – See more at: http://www.explorebranson.com/media/misconceptions#sthash.WhKJOgIc.dpuf

    1. We were so lucky to visit the Keeter Center for lunch. What an absolutely wonderful place! The food was beyond amazing and the campus was beautiful! They were setting up for Mother’s Day when we were there! Looked wonderful!
