Before I blabber on and on about my love for this product, I’ve got to warn you ahead that this post contains affiliate links which means that if you click on one of them and order up some low carb bagels for yourself I’ll make a very small commission which I promise to use to restock my own low carb goodies!

A lot of people have asked me how I’ve managed to stay on track with my low carb lifestyle for so long. It’s going on almost three years and I can honestly say I’ve never “fallen off the wagon” thanks to a little creativity in finding new ways to recreate old favorites and the products from Great Low Carb Bread Company, especially the Everything Bagels  which have been my breakfast, and saving grace, for years! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, low carb bagels!

Of course, you already know that I occasionally purchase and enjoy Atkins bars, shakes and frozen meals, too. I’m not one of those low carbers that go nuts over eating replacement foods – if it fits your plan and doesn’t cause you any trouble, then I say go for it. I’d rather add one or two drops of liquid sucralose to a homemade dessert than eat sugar or go without.

I make most of my low carb food homemade, from scratch but sometimes I’m running short on time, want a break or, as is the case with these 2 net carb low carb bagels from Great Low Carb Bread Company, I just can’t master a recipe that comes close enough to the real thing like they do. They have some great low carb breads, too. My favorite low carb bread is the Great Low Carb Thin Sliced Plain Bread which is only 1 net carb for two slices and makes the perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich (no sugar added natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly, of course) or a great grilled cheese sandwich. I do prefer the bread toasted.

These products are a little on the pricier side so I keep a loaf in my freezer and defrost only what I need when I need it. Because I only eat these low carb bagels and low carb breads once in a while they tend to last me a long time and the price seems worth it to me.
